Letter Writing Prompt - Easter
Each month we share a letter writing prompt to encourage you to put pen to paper more often.
A little suggestion of what you could write about, to get your creative juices flowing, and allow you to enjoy a relaxing mindful moment of writing.
As we move into spring, much anticipated daffodils now carpet the base of trees, and there’s the beginnings of little green shoots popping up in the woodlands to remind us that bluebell season is fast approaching. We can finally start to spend more time outside, enjoying the warmth of the sunshine and all of spring’s abundance.
This weekend, we're celebrating Easter. I don't celebrate it in the religious sense, but a time of year that unites hot cross buns, eggs, chocolates, pastel decorations, feasts and time with family is an occasion I can get on board with.
Easter lends itself to crafting and creations. From painted eggs, to spring wreaths, to chocolate cornflake nest cakes, it's the perfect time to let your creative juices flow and bring some joy into your home. It's also a good time to get writing!
Easter cards are now very much a thing here, and a lovely way to celebrate the change of season from winter to spring too. Why not send out a batch of Easter cards to your friends and family this year and surprise them? Or you could write to a childhood friend or relative, sharing your favourite nostalgic memories with them from Easter egg hunts and happy days gone by.
Whatever you do this weekend, I hope it is rested and enjoyable.
Happy Easter!
