Letter Writing Prompt - Thank you

Each month we share a letter writing prompt to encourage you to put pen to paper more often.

A little suggestion of what you could write about, to get your creative juices flowing, and allow you to enjoy a relaxing mindful moment of writing.

January can be a tough old month. Festivities have passed, it’s cold, and it’s dark. We’re told to resolve to be better this year, despite the current version of ourselves already doing its very best. It can all feel a little exhausting.

But there is beauty to be found in January. There are frosty, sunny mornings. There are early nights and blankets on the sofa. There are bracing walks and logs on the fire. There are hot stews and even hotter drinks. There is quiet, and there is calm. And there is also gratitude.

Perhaps you received something wonderful as a gift last year, or you were hosted by family for Christmas day, or cooked a meal by friends. Perhaps your postie did all they could to ensure your presents arrived on time, or your neighbour took in a parcel for you. Maybe a long distance loved one made a huge effort to travel to see you, or the staff, carers and nurses looking after a loved one went above and beyond this year to care for someone special to you. It’s time to say thank you.

Grab a set of our beautiful handprinted 'thank you' notecards and get started today.

Take extra care of yourself this month, and remember that it won’t be long before the sun shines again, and January will have passed. Try to make the most of its magic.
