Chita cotton has been woven in the Chita Peninsula of Aichi prefecture since the Edo period. The makers continue to use the same traditional methods today, with fabric spun using shuttle looms passed down from the Meiji period. The soft look and feel unique to Chita cotton is created by the slow pace of shuttle loom weaving.
The pen loop on the outside of the bag is designed to prevent you from having to search for your pen, so you can start writing the moment inspiration strikes.
Each bag measures 400x350x8mm. Fits any item up to A4 size. Leather pen loop is made from goat leather. Made in Japan.
