Letter Writing Prompt - Halloween
Each month we share a letter writing prompt to encourage you to put pen to paper more often.
A little suggestion of what you could write about, to get your creative juices flowing, and allow you to enjoy a relaxing mindful moment of writing.
Our evenings are dark, our brews are bubbling, our midnights are moonlit, and our pumpkins are carved. Spooky season is here!
Whether you’ll be decorating your house with creepy creations, hosting a trick or treat walk with your little ones and their friends, dressing up in fancy dress, or even just agreeing to watch a spooky film, this time of year, regardless of whether we celebrate Halloween or not, encourages us to do things we wouldn’t normally do, and embrace joy, fun and creativity.
Perhaps you could get into the spooky spirit this Halloween and write to your friends and invite them over for a midnight feast? Or maybe you’ll send a greeting card to a pen pal overseas, and ask how they celebrate this season and see how their traditions differ from ours? Or perhaps it’s a good opportunity to reach out to an old school friend and reminisce over a Halloween party or trick or treat memory you share with them?
