Welcome to the London Letters Pen Pal Club! A society of over 1,800 pen pals from across the world put in touch to revive the art of correspondence and make friends through snail mail.

Founded in 2019 and born from a love of letters, slower hobbies, small moments of joy and a belief in the magic of the written word, we created the club to bring together snail mail enthusiasts and celebrate letters by putting pen to paper, and making a new friend at the same time.

Letters are important, and your written words hold a great deal of sentiment. In a modern, digital world that's so focused on speed and technology, a letter that has been handwritten over a cup of tea, with slow and gentle consideration, has never been so powerful. 

If you feel the same, then we'd love for you to become a member of our community and help us spread the joy.

There's two options to join, either by selecting our 'Membership Only' plan which gives you full access to the club, or by selecting 'Membership + Welcome Pack', where as well as full access to the club, you'll also be sent a beautiful welcome pack of stationery to help you get started, which includes;

HOW IT WORKS

Once you've placed your order we'll be in touch by email to confirm your information, as well as asking you to create a bio for yourself. We'll then send out an alert to all our existing members with this information (this will not contain any personal details i.e. your address or email address), and connect you with the people (or person) that matches your requirements best. We'll only exchange your email address with them, so then it'll be down to you to get in touch, and if you feel comfortable to do so, share your correspondence address and start writing.

There's no limit to how many pen pals you're allocated, so if your new partner doesn't quite work out, we're always happy to find you another. We're always on hand to answer any questions or receive any feedback throughout your membership.

The pen pal club is a one-off payment for a lifetime membership, there are no additional or renewal fees at any stage.

Please note: You must be 18 years old to join. We reserve the right to remove any member without warning. We do not tolerate abuse of any kind. This is not a matchmaking service! Please read our Safety & Community Guidelines before signing up.
